PROActive and distributed inteligent system for optimized traffic signaling Goal The objective of this project is to design a distributed, proactive, autonomous, and intelligent traffic control system able to adapt the signaling intervals of several intersections according to the traffic situation in real time (or ahead of it) and implement the corresponding prototype for experimental testing.

These projects will strive to create and consolidate science-to-technology breaktroughs, establish multidisciplinary research communities and help develop innovation around them. Proactive change management is well researched within both the organisational and project context, with models such as the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and established methods associated with project control and tracking evident (Paulk, 1993). PROACTIVE Research project The project will increase societal preparedness against CBRNe threats and incidents, especially focusing on managing large groups of people and individuals with special needs. PROACTIVE will work to enhance societal CBRNe preparedness by increasing first responder’s ability to effectively manage large, diverse groups of people. The project will be studying the CBRNe incident management from the perspective of the European citizens, something that has rarely been done. PROACTIVE is an H2020 EU research project which aims to increase practitioner effectiveness in managing large and diverse groups of people in a CBRNe environment. During project execution, however, a project may be subject to considerable uncertainty.
